Watch a cheetah hunt on the savannah grasslands. Count yourself among the discoverers of the source of the Nile River. Take a magical hike through Murchison Falls, where the mighty Nile River explodes through a tiny seven-meter gap. Look upon a troop of giraffes as they munch on the treetops. Cruise along the peaceful Kazinga Channel, finding birds and hippos.
Exchange glances with an elephant in Queen Elizabeth National Park. Observe our closest brothers, chimpanzees, having a family meeting; and gorillas, as they saunter and swing through the forest. When it is time for rest and relaxation, enjoy sipping fresh tropical fruit juice, or a nature walk around wetlands or waterfalls.
We will visit the following locations:
Murchison Falls - wart hogs, elephants, hippos, rare birds (shoebill stork), and crocodiles near magnificent waterfalls
Kidepo Valley National Park - cheetahs and giraffes in their natural habitat
The River Nile - white water rafting in one of the most important rivers in world history
Kibale Forest - Africa's premier site for research on chimpanzees
Bwindi Impenetrable Forest - home to over half the world's population of mountain gorillas
Queen Elizabeth National Park - lions, leopards, elephants, birds, kobs, waterbucks and buffalos roam the savannah
Lake Mburo National Park - zebras, giraffes, hippos, birds, and local fishing communities
Package includes: All transportation in our 4WD Land Cruisers, all accommodations, game entry tickets, and digital photos taken of you, the animals, and the scenery taken by our guides. Meals are catered for the first and last days of the trip.
